Cee Lo Green put is so succinctly in the latest evolution of his career, “I’d be a pretty good thug but that wouldn’t compare to a great me” Don’t chase the trends. Don’t try and be like everyone else. Every time the hot new thing becomes a trend, the industry jumps on the bandwagon.

Filmmaker Networking 101

This is a personal pet peeve of mine, how I see some people who call themselves networking working a room, passing out business cards but not connecting to anyone. If you’re in a room with 100 people, it’s better to meaningfully connect with one person, than to get everyone’s contact info.
